The 29-year-old Lanham resident purchased the scratch-off ticket at Whitfield Sunoco at 9105 Annapolis Road in Lanham, officials said Monday, March 18.
His ticket showed a “win” symbol next to its corresponding $100,000 prize — pretty simple.
He says he called his brother after learning just how much the ticket had won him. He plans to use the money to buy a home.
The $100,000 Ca$h instant ticket went on sale in September 2023. It began with 65 $100,000 top prizes. There are still 55 top prizes remaining along with others ranging from $30 to $5,000.
